Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria provides mentoring programs for youth, including community and in-school mentoring, designed to ignite their potential through consistent and caring relationships.

Youth Empowerment Society

The Victoria Youth Empowerment Society offers a variety of programs and services to support youth and their families, including assistance with basic needs, mental health, substance use, securing employment, homelessness, and family support.

BCSS Youth

The BC Schizophrenia Society Youth program provides free education and support to children and youth aged 8-18 who have family members with mental illness.

YMCA-YWCA: Y-Mind

The YMCA-YWCA of Vancouver Island offers free mental wellness programs, including Y Mind and Mind Medicine, to help participants aged 13-30 manage stress and anxiety through evidence-based techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness.

BounceBack® is a free skill-building program designed for youth aged 13+ and adults to manage low mood, anxiety, stress, or worry through online or telephone coaching and access to various mental wellness tools.

Vancouver Island Crisis Society

Youth in BC

YouthInBC offers 24/7 online crisis support for youth under 25 in BC. Through chat and phone services, young people can talk to trained volunteers about mental health, relationships, school, or any challenges they're facing.

Community-led Crisis Response Team (CLCR)

The CLCR team consists of mental health professionals and individuals with lived experience who provide compassionate and trauma-informed support to those in crisis. They operate daily from 7:30 AM to 12:30 AM.

Kids Help Phone

Kids Help Phone offers 24/7, confidential support for youth across Canada. Through phone, text, or online chat, young people can connect with professional counsellors and trained volunteers to discuss any issue they're facing, from mental health challenges to relationship concerns.
